The District Attorney’s Office is concerned about
business owners that are victimized by bad check
writers. Los Angeles County merchants lose thousands
of dollars every year due to bad checks. To help
combat this growing problem, we have established
the Bad Check Program. This innovative, no-cost
program helps bring relief to the victims of bad
checks, and increases the accountability of individuals
who fail to pay restitution.
The Bad Check Program is
available at no cost to you and is easy and convenient
